You can practise affirmations to be happy so you don’t need to rely on outer circumstances changing to experience the freedom, joy and clarity that is available in any given moment.
Most people think their purpose in life is to strive, achieve and make a difference in the world.
There’s certainly nothing wrong with doing all of those things, but they’re not the sole purpose of your existence. You’re here for one simple reason; to be happy, joyful and free.
Everything you want; whether it’s more money, a better relationship with your spouse or a career that lights you up – is because you think when you get it, it’ll make you feel better.
But you can feel better right now, regardless of what’s going on around you.
Make Happiness a Choice
All kinds of factors can interfere with our wellbeing, but none more so than our perception of what’s going on around us. You may think that you can only be happy if some condition or other changes for the better; but you’d be wrong.
